Your accommodation is separate to the main house, with your own front door opening onto decking area with your own table and chairs in a southerly facing position. Your accommodation comprises of a large bedroom walking through to a separate dressing area with a separate en-suite facility. Wi-fi and television available in all rooms. Ample car parking facilities and secure over-night garaging if required. We are dog friendly.Walk across to the house to take breakfast in our conservatory, overlooking a large landscape garden, where you will be served locally sourced produce. Breakfast times to suit your needs.We are located in the beautiful Usk Valley, in the small village of Bettws Newydd. The Black Bear Pub, famous for it's food, real ale and rustic charm, can be found a two minute short walk away at the bottom of our garden.We are situated on the edge of the Alice Springs Golf Club, a 36 hole parkland course within the Usk Valley, overlooking the River Usk and Black Mountains. Close links to the M4 and Midlands with the market towns of Usk, Abergavenny and Monmouthg only a short drive away. Cardiff 35 minutes away.

Directions

From M4 take Junction 24, A449, signposted The Midlands' 12 miles to Usk turning, A472,Follow main road into Usk, turning right (at Three Salmons Hotel) on the B4598 Usk-Abergavenny Road. After 4 miles turn right immediately before Chain Bridge, a green iron bridge over River Usk. Signposted for Bettws Newydd. On this road for 1 mile until you see a blue sign on the left hand side of the road welcoming you to Bettws Newydd, turn right immediately opposite this sign into our drive.From the M50 take the Raglan turn onto the A40 until you approach a roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the old Abergavenny Road signposted for Clytha, not the dual carriageway signposted for Abergavenny. Follow this road for approx. 3.5 miles, pass the Clytha Arms on your right and proceed downhill, turning left onto the Bettws Newydd Road. If using sat nav do not take the left hand turn to Clytha Hill this will bring you to Bettws Newydd but on a very narrow cart track!!After turning left proceed 2.5 miles into Bettws Newydd, telephone kiosk on right, turn right at this kiosk, with Black Bear Pub on left. Proceed uphill 150 yds and turn left into our drive.From Abergavenny, at very large roundabout (joining Hereford, Heads of Valley and Pontypool roads) again do not take dual carriageway to Raglan, take left hand turning immediately before signposted Old Raglan Road. Continue on this road for 7 miles until you pass a high stone wall on left hand side look out for turning on right, at bottom of hill, for Bettws Newydd. After turning left proceed 2.5 miles into Bettws Newydd, telephone kiosk on right, turn right at this kiosk, with Black Bear Pub on left. Proceed uphill 150 yds and turn left into our drive.Please do not hesitate to telephone us if you are lost!!!
